Your generous donation will help us accomplish our mission by helping to provide preventative services such as dental cleanings and fluoride applications, purchase new books and pamphlets for our library, and fund visits to dentists who will speak to children about the importance of oral health and provide treatment if needed. While many children are protected by Medicaid Assistance, there are thousands without Medicaid or dental insurance coverage, and we are preparing to be an Earth Angel for those who are "stuck in the middle" so to speak.   Without your generosity and support, this will not be possible.

This year, our goal is to raise substantial funds during our very first annual Sonja Lauren Foundation Inc. Gala Fundraiser titled “Earth Angels.” This is a new beginning for our foundation and for those in need of our assistance.

Studies have shown that children and young adults who participate in regularly scheduled dentist visits are more likely to succeed as adults because they are free of pain and have good quality of life and overall health. They have better chances of obtaining employment with teeth that are healthy and pain free. Our hope is to give children and young adults this advantage in life, and to have them break the cycle by sharing their new knowledge for many generations to come. Together we can prevent catastrophic situations such as those that happened to Sonja Lauren and so many other dentally neglected children and young adults.
